ok so first for the rules...

ADMINS - PLEASE DELETE IF VIOLATES ANYTHING!!!! this is not my picture... it is from picture people that i scanned.. im just asking a question but if it is not allowed.. please delete..


anywho.. wife wanted us to get our family portrait done... as usual no sitting fee and 6 sheets for $18....

anyway..
the girl used a Canon D40 and 28-105 as seen here..

i was not impressed and still not... my wife paid $5 for a color thing that was done but then didnt like it... she also didnt like the grey background... so she chose white.. and our son is in white and i dont like that...


but does this look OOF to you? i really think it is a horrible fuzzy job....
opinions...

what's all over your wife's sweater on her right should/arm area? Also, your son's hand looks like he's transfered some other gunk to your shirt?

The image doesn't appear razor sharp on my screen and looks like a quick line up and shoot deal.

I"m guessing you're seeing "stuff" that was on the print that got scanned in... ;)

For $18, would you expect anything but a "quick line up and shoot" deal?

hahahahha.... wife just asked what is the stuff on her shirt too.. gonna have to check the scanner.. and get a better pic.. but to my question.. is the pic OOF or am i just blind? eyes are getting bad and eye doctor says glasses in 3 years.. so not sure if it is just me...

Looks like you got what you paid for. Which isn't saying much. But for $18, what were you expecting? ;)

That image looks like any Sears or JCPenny studio image. Boring pose, inconsistent lighting (darker on the left edge than the right) etc. but it does record what the family looks like I guess. If the question is "does it look fuzzy to you?", only slightly but from a viewing distance, and depending on how enlarged it ends up, it is probably acceptable...
