Couple shots for a friend that wanted to give her mom a portrait present. I know they're kind of soft, but still wanted to share.

the good news is that they'll probably print sharper. I'm always amazed how a shot on my LCD panel can look a bit soft and when it's printed it's pretty sharp. Good luck.

#1 is a nice shot. #2 is not very flattering for the subject. She almost looks like she's being incarcerated :lol: You know, a mugshot.

It looks like her right eye is dominate too. Maybe shoot her from the left to equal things out.

I would have used a longer focal length than in these shots.
