The free trials from Adobe are the same full program as the 'boxed' product and if you later purchase the licence you only have to enter it and the program becomes a 'full' version.

You can get Lightroom for as little as 79.99 in a student and teacher edition if you qualify. It's pretty loose so if you have student somewhere in your life you could make it work.
