I like the panorama of the wider, but the way it just seems to fall away on the right side leads my eye away. there's some crap on the left side also, so maybe crop off both sides. with this much cropping, it's a weak original. you can crop almost any weak shot to be interesting, but that's not good photography. study gestalt.

Version 1, more to look at. I don't mind if my eyes roll around a picture.

The snow in the foreground is too gray.

I agree that the snow in the foreground is too gray and the near trees are too black. I like the expanse of the first image. After seeing that one, the 2nd one looks more confining. I really like the extra posted shot, nice foreground and distance appeal.

In the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.

Nice clouds. What are you shooting? Is there a subject here? Is it a picture of the rock? Don't just stand up straight and shoot -- maybe get on your stomach and get some perspective to draw the viewer in. Sorry, I have nothing good to say.

EDIT: It's gone now, but I wanted to impart some improvements from total memory. It seems the area of interest (not the dead grass in foreground, or another dark area on the right, is the nice terrain in the upper/mid left. unless you can draw my eye there, it's too far away and boring. either crop alot and with interest, or devise some way to at least frame the image. Best to do while you shoot (like grass in my face) or something to set scale and direction.

When I teach, we rely heavily on gestalt principles. Not that they dictate a good image, but it explains why images work. Also the rule of thirds as in relation to composition. (there's another rule of thirds that relates to pulling bezier curves.)

Also, watch where your eye travels. Usually defined by leading lines or specular highlights. You don't want to be led off your image prematurely (before the story is told — but don't really need an exit) or stuck at a white edge on a print.

Sorry. Just yesterday I was driving through some towns shaking my head at the typography of holiday banners. I get nuts at bad design. I think I have to move to Sweden or Germany.

I say #1 having the valley in the background gives it more depth and interest.
