So... coastline/water shots

I just bought a canon 10-22mm and got the chance to take it out to the seaside today (getting it slightly wet while doing so) to try some long exposure shots with it (I bought a very cheap china made nd8 filter, so that helped some, especially when the water was splashing onto the lens!).
Here are my favourites, I've converted most of them to B&W because the weather wasn't great, and I didn't like the colour of the rocks too much.

I really like the color one, and the compositions on all of them.
I would keep an eye on your histograms though. On all the B/W shots much detail is lost with the under exposure.

Thanks for the feedback Michael, I'll do that with the histograms next time
I have to admit I do like B/W shots with lots of blacks and whites though :P I'm not a fan of the predominantly grey shots, so that might have had a part to play in the settings I used.

I am just a newbie here but I think that all of your shots are well done.
I especially like 2 and 4.

They are all nice, but I think you should fix the water spray/dust bunnies in number3, 4 and 6. I agree that some of the areas are a bit too dark, but the plus side is that the images are strong and the composition is just brilliant.

The black level seems a tad too high although I do like the compositions.

I think from what I see your black is to dark...

awesome pics. the long exposure on the water is mesmerizing. Looks like fog or clouds. What was your exposure length? no exif on the photo I tried.
