ID this type of Eel

Took this at Scripps Aquarium in San Diego. I completely forgot the name of the little bugger. Anyone know? It's about pencil thickness and wasn't longer than 12". They spend all day hanging out in the sand with their heads sticking out.

That appears to be a "Spotted Garden Eel"

Nice, understated, shot as well.

Its all the little friends in the background that give him away... this is how you tend to find garden eels... they look like a bed of grass from a bit of a distance when you see them.

Definitely Spotted Garden Eel. Used to love to find these guys diving. Nice shot!
