Hi all,
Need help here. I am seeking ideas for engagement shooting locations in NYC and Long Island. Any good location besides of Times Sqaure, Brooklyn Bridge DUMBO, Central Park, Prospect Park, Manhattan Streets?
Thanks all.

SuzyView Cream of the Crop More info | Dec 26, 2010 21:31 | #2 I'd check out the Apple Store front, but there are a lot of wonderful neighborhoods in NYC that would make wonderful shots. Even the front of some famous buildings. The whole area around downtown by the water is wonderful. Don't miss a chance to shoot on the ferry. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Dec 28, 2010 14:39 | #3 Thanks for you sharing Suzie. Downtown Battery Park and by the East River with all the bridges are good. Thanks for the reminder. Buidlings are good but I also try my best to avoid the landmarks as I don't want to make the engagement session look like a NYC Travel/Tour picture shooting. That's why i am thinking about using the elements from the streets, transportation, outdoor lights, doors, entrance and etc... (if allowed) instead. I mean, this is a NYC E-session right? I've seen photos titled Brooklyn E-Session, but you would have no idea it was shot in Brooklyn. What's the point?

Not all but some New Yorkers don't like the idea of showing off NYC landmarks in their engagemnet pictures. That's why I want to come up good locations other than the obvious landmarks. But thanks for the reminder. Gear|Searching for 7DII, Buying 5DIII 35L II, 24-70 2.8L IS
