Sounds like some guys ramblings, I doubt Canon would use an even number like that. Those could be implemented in the 7D MkII though .

yeah if they are to introduce a new number, I'd expect 9 to be used rather than 8..

Oh Yeah? I'm interested how you would come to that conclusion, because I never thought they would they would use a 7X, but they did.

Name the last even number single digit body. Even going back to film days they were always odd numbers.

Sounds like this guy thinks Canon responds to whatever Nikon does...Whatever camera is coming out next has already been in development for a while and has nothing to do with what Nikon puts out.

I wonder how much time he spent to create such a useless post.

The 9D sounds like your saying "ninety" so yeah thats not happening..There will be no 7D mark II..after the 7D, Canon's grand scheme is to get you into a 5D II..or 1D..

So the 7D doesn't sound like Seventy to you?

Overused. Those glasses give me a headache.

I don't expect nearly anything that guy said to come true. Less MP? No way, Canon is gunna continue the MP war, I expect even more than 18 for 7DmkII.

Who cares what number they end up using, does it really mater. It not like the number will make it take better pictures. Let's just be happy that at least there is rumors of a new camera coming out.

+ 1 on the MP war. Canon did develope the 120MP APS-H sensor. What they will use that on will be something I probably could not afford.

I think this article is 100% opinon and 0% fact. Its amazing how rumors can get out of control. I still have yet to hear a verizon employee even hint to them getting the iphone and everyone seems to think that it will be happening next week. I know thats off subject but it deserves to be in the same category as this.
