Still a ways to go? If you don't mind critiquing yourself, what did you miss? This looks like an excellent shot to me.

I did not think that it was tack sharp across the bird - I would like to say that I was trying to isolate the eyes but I would be telling porky pies! Better than the several hundred that I have tried in the past! Compare to the ones posted by Waldemar Sikorski and you will see there is "still a ways to go"!

Well, you certainly set the bar high for yourself! Yeah, I look at some posts here and I think "Wow-Golly-Gee!!" But that's a good thing. I, also, need a lot of practice and from the looks of this shot, more than you. Good capture on "your way up the ladder".
