same. I like the idea. I would've like to have seen worn out converses but that's just an aesthetic thing for me. :)

Wonderful idea.

This shot might also work with a lot of empty space at the top (created a tall rectangle), or wide open with empty space on all sides. DOF is solid.

The top shoe feels to have a bit too much visual weight, likely due to lens perspective. If you stick with tight framing, I'd probably go for more symmetry in the shot, align all of the shoes in the same pattern, and then take a tight frame. You could also put this stack beside a single stiletto heel, though not sure what that would symbolize -- maybe "Retro Hot Tomboy".

If you don't mind, I think I'll take this same stacking idea with bits and parts around the house. Thanks for sharing.

I'm on the fence about the crop vs. being able to see the entire stack of shoes, but aside from that, very well done!

thanks. i was on the fence too. after i did before/after's, i decide showing the entire stack without minor cutting off looked like i was trying to display a product, like an ad. to proper. i wanted a more abstract look.
