Hello everyone!

I found this site a few weeks ago when the rumors on the new Canon DSLRs were running wild. I'm finally getting around to looking at some other forums and found myself spending quite a bit of time looking at the pics here. In the spirit of things, I thought I post some pictures of a gull I took at Navy Pier a month or two ago in Chicago.

Hello, I am thinking of buying that lens at the moment, is there anything you could tell me that I should be aware of before buying it??? Do you find it a great lens??? Do you get great shots most of the time??? Thanks, Sharon

The 70-200L IS is easily my favorite lens. (There are lots of others that I'd like to try though! :) I'm not a good enough photographer at this point to great shots all of the time. But with this lens, if I don't mess up the shot, the lens certainly wont. It's a terrific set of glass, but it's not magic.

Nice shots! The 1st & 3rd ones remind me of a long ago dumped GF. :D
