I wouldn't mind purchasing stuff through Craigslist if it were cheaper items, but to carry around hundreds of dollars in cash usually to an unknown address doesn't really give me a sense of security. Dec 26, 2010 20:06 | #5 Just to add, I'm relatively new to DSLR and I've only purchased through Amazon and Adorama. I did find Adorama to be a bit weird because they had to call me to confirm my order. The number they were calling from was only 3 digits instead of the normal (area code)-xxx-xxxx number. B & H - a friend who knows a lot about photography told me to buy stuff there. I've bought everything there and have been very happy with their service.
