A few of my backyard friends trying to make it Sunday afternoon through the East Coast blizzard; they are a bit softer than I would like, but the conditions were not greatest.
C & C welcome.

:) Kitchen window shooting... no hero here.
Unfortunately, so was the wind blowing that snow was swirling into the kitchen (and on my gear); it had to be a limited-time session.

The Song Sparrow shot is the loveliest shot of the set for me, but my favourite has to be the Nuthatch, battling the elements there. Very very nice Winter shots.

Thanks, I always wonder how they can survive through that kind of weather

Thanks Levina, the Nuthach is my favorite as well, for the same reason.

Thanks Mitch. I had a female Cardinal last year in more or less the same conditions, here (you commented on her):

... but no Cardinal this year, at least not in this blizzard.

I can appreciate how difficult these were to capture with all that flying snow....I tried a few during our part of the storm but quickly gave up.

Love the Junco....snowball fight.
