Hey everyone. I haven't posted in a long time. Had some "contract issues" with the venue I shot for, and I recently started grad school, so I haven't been shooting much. I did volunteer to shoot for my school's performance of the rocky horror picture show on Halloween. It was a shaddowcast, but it was still fun to shoot. Let me know what you think!

This was my first time shooting a play. Additional photos can be found here if anyone is interested: http://www.coppatopphotos.com/p69340623 (external link)

I really like the ones taken from a lower perspective, such as 1 and 5. The fisheyed bow also works well, as does the black and white. Nice work ...

Quite a bit of variation in images, mostly caused by the lighting.

#1: Nice, even if a bit more light in the shadow side of her face would have been better
#2: Nice. Pity about the cropped shoe.
#3: Nice images, not so nice (boring) background
#4: Nice timing for her, but the guy is totally covered. Background is bad as well. Frankly, I'd bin it. Which is a pity, because it is a nice moment otherwise.
#5: Nice. Nitpick would be the cropping of an elbow, but I like the total composition.
#6: Totally boring lighting, and the moment isn't great either.
#7: Nice. I might have liked a bi more separation between hair and BG, to make the hairdo more apparent.
#8: Pretty nice. These are hard shorts to get right.

RHPS is such a fun thing to watch, I've been to 3 different ones and was in 1 myself, nice shots. #7 was my favorite out of the set.

Really nice series! I think Renee nailed pretty much any comments/critiques that could possibly be done... I'm still learning a lot and it all looks really good to me
