Hey all just wanted to say i got the Zeiss 35 2.0 from my lovely GF as one of my X-mas presents and OMG!

Why the hell didn't i find these lenses before. I am hooked. I thought my 85 1.2 was magic until i seen what these Zeiss lenses could do.

The main difference i found in this lens vs all my other L lenses is the colors and contrast pop is out of this world. Pictures look 3-D.

Just thought i would throw this out there in case others are thinking about trying out one of these Zeiss lenses. If you don't mind the MF order one tomorrow, they're really that amazing!

I think they just put a magic polarizing coating on the lenses!

Thanks guys.
Oh i said the same exact thing. But after you get home and review your pictures its all worth it. Another huge thing you notice with the Zeiss is that while shooting in AWB you find yourself barely adjusting the colors.

Have to shoot one to believe. Amazing lenses.

I would rather save the money and adjust contrast in ps. But cool pickup, man.

Well in my case i wouldn't be saving too much. The 35L is 400 more and from the shots i have taken the Zeiss kills it in color, contrast, pop, and corner to corner sharpness.

Wait for the Zesis 35. f1.4....not to sure have it launch yet...That will be a good piece of glass as well...

Congratulations! I've been eyeing the 35ZE for quite sometime now and the pictures I got from it I dare say has better pop then the 21ZE. The only snag is that I have the 24L and the 50L to flank it if I were to get one. The focal length is a touch closer to the 50mm.

I can't wait to try this vs the upcoming new 35/1.4 which will feature next year. Now that will be something.
