I used to do over nights when I worked in stores and it would mess up my sleeping pattern like what your going through.

I'm looking forward to your shots since you went where I had been. I wish I could go back and shoot the sunsets with a tripod :(

Geoff_Shawcross wrote in post #11632608 (external link)
My sleep is also messed up because I've always been a night owl.

Unfortunately, I never brought my tripod with me as it was to heavy to bring. I'm hoping to have a carbon fiber tripod by the time we "hopefully" can go to Maui for our 10th anniversary. Thankfully that's not until 2014. I got a few nice shots from the resort and also got some good ones from the Mayan ruins of Telum.

Well, I'm off to try sleeping again. At this point, I might get 5 hours sleep......could be worse though....hehe. ;)

i spent 25 years working midnights, to me these are the best shifts, you wake up early and

have the whole day, everyone sleeps at night anyways so your not missing much ;)

Yeah, sorry, it's really busy at work and I've been working late. I don't even know how I ever managed to be inside the top 5 posters for these threads, lol. I don't think this is likely to happen again.

Omar, nice zoo shots! Did you get any polar bears?

And great food pics from many of you in that past day. :D

Thanks Alex. Damm polar bear didnt come out! I asked the zoologist there and she said its hit or miss. Every other day he comes out.

Small world. Was that a planned trip or just a coincidence?

Your very right in saying all L lens have a certain quirck to them. Once you figure it out they really shine.

Planned. We staged through Quito for the Galapagos trip, so I got in touch with Rafael as soon as we had our schedule.

Nothing. She doesnt believe in valentines day :D She sees it as a commercial day *omar thinks in his head YES!!!*. What helps is that our anniversary is at the end of the month so valentines day has lost all its power
