Peeps, peeps, peeps...

That's quite the investigatory reporting on your part my friends. OK, so here it is, straight from the horse's ass...or was that mouth. Or was that ass to mouth, just the way MDJAK likes it.

Yes indeed, I have acquired a 1DMKIII and a few select lenses. Of course, you guys know me buy now so they have red rings and one is white colored.

Good job hunting that one down!

what has gone into Nicks mind :confused:

It's definitely not a good joint. No, really...

FJ LOVE wrote in post #11761385 (external link)
see he regrets selling his mk3 and moving to the darkside, i on the other hand haven't missed mine :D

I've always kinda regretted it. I know lots of people had legitimate issues with it. I had NONE. I think it was pretty reasonable to assume the 1DMKIV was going to be that much better than the MKIII. That was NOT the case for me and from the looks of it, that's not the case for more than a handful of people. Sad? Indeed. Hopeless? Maybe.

I have a feeling he's going to come back. :) I actually like his images/colors from the Canon side. Just my opinion of course. :)

I'm already back...half way. Still have the D3s and a few lenses. Should get my Canon stuff sometime next week and you get bet your horse's ass that I will be testing the AF a bunch...maybe on an actual horse's ass...or MDJAK. Same thing...

FJ LOVE wrote in post #11761406 (external link)
i bet it was the old fart posting pics with his old 200/2 that got him ;)

Yeah. He taunts me that all the time. I'll just have to settle for the 70-200 f2.8 IS MKII. Poor me...

jdizzle wrote in post #11761409 (external link)
The Canon 200 f/2 output is an amazing piece of glass. I'll eventually buy one. :)

Indeed. AMAZING piece of glass. More amazing than the Nikon version.

Crack of noon! Where's Martin? Hope his igloo isn't completely buried.

Yeah its odd for him not to check in at 12pm. Hopefully everything is alright on his end.+

damn man that's expensive!! for $275 I could already get a 2 day lesson from one of the best Filipino photographer I know.. Manny Librodo (check him out).

but then again, 20 models? wow!!! that's gotta be fun.

wait its already 1am here... isn't eastern time exactly 12hours behind mine?

I think its a pretty good deal. 20+ models in multiple outfits and settings for 8 hours. Damm good portfolio builder :)

monk3y wrote in post #11763109 (external link)
good night peeps... GF called me already

Its 12:47 over here on the east so yeah you should be close to 1am. Have a good night steven!

krepta wrote in post #11763157 (external link)
Well, what I meant was that he gets asked out, but more often than not turns them down. He's picky and shy. But he doesn't need to make the slightest effort to get a girl to ask him out. That's the more cocky exterior side of him, but I don't know why he doesn't carry that confidence over to accepting a date.

Night Steven!

You know what thats called? Big bark small bite :P

I wish they'd plow our damn street outside the condo so I didn't have to trudge through it all to get my morning coffee... grrrrr snow I shall smite thee!

I went through the same this morning! I think i had my try out for the USA speed skating team on my way to work

Welcome emelvee, and happy birthday!

What The Duck is great, hehe. :)

Thanks :) What The Duck is amazing - first saw it in PhotoLife magazines, now I have the daily strip saved as a favourite - now that I can understand all the jokes

I should read this thread more ... it's fun!

My turn?

I'm from Edmonton, in Ontario for school ... and today is my very first snow day! It was the best feeling in the world to wake up (on my birthday, no less!) and see everybody's facebook posts that school was cancelled :D

Oh, and I love how some "What The Duck" comics completely summarize some rants on this forum:

[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]

welcome to our thread, got any food pics, and since your a student please no Kraft dinner pics :)
