Sorry excuse for not being able to land Lee, though I'm kinda glad they didn't sign Lee. But not so glad that he went to the Phils b/c now they've got a KILLER rotation. It was already killer, but now it's KILLER. Man, he must still be high from the short term Kerry Wood rental from last season! Boggles the mind why they wouldn't sign him and sign the other relievers they signed. Just asinine... Horrible. I believe the phils have the best 1-2 in baseball kind of like the diamondbacks who killed us with shilling and johnson a decade ago. Beyond holliday and lee they are suspect.
