Just got back from the gym. I kinda stopped my work out once Ashley Simpson's Pieces of Me came on, and my ipod was in my car. Going out!!! Oh let me add Omar to my psn.

I'll bring my 7D tonight, let's see the 19 af points in action!

Wait, you're going on your date just now?? Well, it was 11pm when you posted that. I thought you were going earlier. Why so late?

Since it's night time, we know you're only going to use center AF point. :p

^- blargh yeah i've been noticing that on my 7D :< the offcenter points in lower light are a bit iffy..

Also selecting them with a vertical grip is very awkward to me for some reason

You use the multi-controller (joystick) to select AF points, right? It is indeed awkward to do with the vertical battery grip. It would be nice if Canon added a multi-controller on the grip. I believe either Nikon or Sony have that feature, so you don't have to reach as far with the thumb.

I believe its Sony, using the dual dials isnt HORRID mind you (i used to do it with my EOS-3 ages ago) but im so used to the joystick at this point its not funny...

Same for me. Even though I have to reach, using the joystick is a lot faster than the dial.

yeah I have a joystick where I could move the AF point on my battery grip :D

whether I use the grip or not, my hands are in almost the same place doing AF-button or changing AF points.

The MB-D10 has it too? Dang, that's nice. I don't know why Canon hasn't put a joystick on their battery grips yet.
