Paul C Buff used to be tight with Frank Zappa. He used to be a musician/audio engineer. If Frank were alive today he'd probably tell PCB to pluck some floss, and move to Montana to be a dental floss tycoon. No, Brendan, I've never had the pleasure of owning a Vagabond II PID (Portable Incendiary Device). However, I've read enough about them and their propensity for self-immolation to make sure I take certain precautions. I will not, for example, leave a VML plugged in or switched on while unattended. Battery charging will be on a timer. Lithium battery failure can be catastrophic (just ask Dell and Sony laptop owners) so I intend to err on the side of caution for a good long while.

I'd check on your order. I got two emails (12/30 & 1/4) giving me updated status on the mini. I've that these units on preorder since the end of Nov.
