Not in the land of Buffistan it isn't. I ordered my first set of Einsteins in July of 2009 and received them in April of 2010. I ordered a second pair in July 2010 and still haven't received those. I ordered 64" and 86" silver PLMs along with the first set of Einsteins and didn't receive those until this past August. And the VML was ordered on September 13. So, in the world of Buff, VML fulfillment has been lickety split.

Dave F.

I received my "Order Shipped" yesterday of many of my items!
So I guess getting my PLM in two weeks is lightning fast!
My Vagabond Mini is in there store and being put together and I was told while standing face to face with them in the store they should be finished filling the 1500 orders before me in two weeks then put mine together and again said I got my order in in time to get one of the extras that exceeded the 1500 pre orders.

Received my Mini Vagabond Today. Shame really.. Nothing to plug in to it. (Einstein hasn't been received yet).

One note is that the manual says it doesn't support 250W modelling lamps, so I'd have to contact PCB for 50W modelling lamp replacement for AB and Einsteins.

???????????? Is 250 watts a type "O" ?????????
Mine has 150 watt modeling lamp bulbs. Why would you need 50 watt ???

Just hold on to the instruction manual. It could be worth a fortune. I hear (or rather, read) that some units don't come with them. ;)

Typically, none of these portable batteries are intended to power devices that are a constant draw. You can get away with it and some of the more powerful batteries will handle it but none of the manufacturers recommend it. PCB doesn't recommend it and neither does Innovatronix.

Modeling lights would be the last thing on my mind when looking at lightweight and portable solutions for location work.

Haven't had a change to play with it yet, but here's a quick picture of the front panel. I'll be pairing it up with a B400 and QBox24.

Modeling lights just suck power.
The modeling light can be left on but it overloads the inverter and depletes the battery.

BTW, the ground symbol has a plug-in so the unit can be grounded for additional electrical protection.
Great feature.
