Using battery pack as sandbag

Anybody use the Ranger RX battery pack to weigh down the light stand? I was thinking of coming up with a padded bag that would hang with the bag nearly touching the ground.

You mean a padded bag for the RX pack? How about the Eli Snappy?

Some of the reviews for the Snappy mentions using it with the RX pack to weigh down the light stand although I have no idea what is special about the Snappy that allows them to do this that they can't do with the Ranger pack without the Snappy. :confused:
