Heya all these are a few that I dug from a concert I recently went to.

Some of my own critiques:

#1 - Unfortunately he was not fully in focus but at the same time I think it adds a bit to it being a silhouette as well as with the smoke it makes him look like a scary monster.

#2 - Blown spot on his neck and wish I had captured a bit more of him vertically.

#3 - Shot this wide but not wide enough to capture everyone in the band. Perhaps I should crop a bit more.

#4 - Very upset that this douche bag stood straight in front of me less then two or so seconds of taking this picture. I was focused so much on trying to catch Joel, the Bassist, in action, that I didn't even see him until after the show. I like the distortion from the UWA though. Perhaps that's just taste. Would have been a perfect picture in terms of positioning if this guy wasn't there.

Please let me know what you think!

The best lit is the last but some idiot has parked his head in the way thus rather lessening the photo's potential.

You've done an excellent job of critiquing your work.

As to #4 - happens all the time. Get into the habit of checking that stuff in the viewfinder first. He certainly didn't know what he had done.

Thank you!

I am definitely critical of my own work afterward but should probably be while actually shooting as well.

Any other particular good or bad things that you see?
