I am on my way to a beautiful relationship with a new Canon T1i and am looking to photograph Motorcycles and vehicles in general. Anything transportation is what I would like to focus on but my passion is motorcycles. I am getting a lot of great ideas looking through everyone's posts here but I am seeing a lack of two-wheeled photographs.

I would like to see your best motorcycle pictures (preferably road bikes) I am interested in your approach, angles, filters used and any tips you might have for a budding photographer. I can accomplish just about anything Adobe relating to design work and now I am looking to gear my work toward post processing RAW images.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this thread, I am looking forward to your input.

See post #18: Valvoline bike by Orange County Choppers.

Otherwise, the light for bikes works the same as it does for cars, so see the links in my Sig.

Motorcycles are the same as cars. Just make sure to get the camera down low. Try shooting no higher than the bike's headlights. Wait for good light, etc. The links in the sig above my post are the best information to read, and just practice.

I rather liked these photos I took:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Redirected to error image by FLICKR

IMAGE NOT FOUND
Byte size: ZERO | Content warning: NOT AN IMAGE

Those are great tips, thank you for sharing. I will be relying solely on natural lighting for the first little bit so your writeup helps immensely.

I love the pictures you have taken, thanks for sharing. The lighting seems perfect.
