Photo 2 is correct...I'd increase contrast and call it good :)

Are you assuming that the door isn't neutral but has a tint? We don't know, so we have
to assume something. I'm guessing it's pretty close to neutral ... which would make #2
not correct.

"Bluing" agents are sometimes added to pigments. Most white paper also has bluing added to make it "whiter."

Ya, number #1 does not look right at all, to me.

Chas' take on it looks right.

QUOTED IMAGE

To me, the skin gives it away -- bluish, I'd say.

Of the three versions in the OP, on my color managed browser (Safari) and with the pointer of Color Pic on the white toy, the following values were read:
1. 214/211/218
2. 220/232/242
3. 199/219/228
So #1 is the closest to balanced.

Handy little tool, ColorPic: http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/ (external link)

Whilst #2 might be right technically, personally I would prefer something between #1 and #2, as the slightly warmer tones suit the subject.

My try.
Used camera raw to set the white balance using the grey heal of his right foot. Then used the color balance tool to decrease magentas.

Thanks for all the Edits.

I can definately see improvements.

To be honest I think the main issue is probably due to shoot with CTO Gel when it was Not Tungsten bulbs, caused a slight imbalance.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.

More than an imbalance I'm afraid. If you were using CTO in a "mildly" fluorescent environment, you caused a mixed lighting situation where you really have no choice but to compromise.
