OK for Christmas I did large photos for a photo wall for my wife. She told me she likes the photo walls seen on shows like Extreme Makeover Home Edition. So I looked up some of the photographers that shoot for that show and then tried to emulate their processing. This is not my usual style. These were shot natural light with 85mm 1.8 mostly wide open on a few of them I used a reflector but for the most part just natural light no reflector. I would like to here your thoughts on this processing. I am still not sure I am sold on it.

1. shot while she was on a merry go round

2. These were taken the week before Christmas in near freezing weather got to love the short sleeves. Kids choice.

3. Both my son and daughter got their haircut after the first shoot so we redid some right outside of my apartment rather then in the park.

4. One of my favorites from the shoot of my daughter holding onto a piece of playground equipment. She is actually sitting on my oldest daughters shoulders to get her in the right position. It was very funny.

I like them... however, to me #3 looks too soft and dreamy. #1 is the best of the bunch IMO.

What beautiful children and very lovely photos! I'll go through what I think one by one :)

1) I really like it. Nice timing and her expression is perfect. I think the PP really works here, too... makes it almost dreamy and playful and bright and happy.

2) Very sweet. I like how the sunlight is playing there. Maybe it could benefit by just a teeny tiny bit more contrast because it looks a little washed out on my screen, but that could just be the PP/personal preferences, too.

3) I like the brightness and the crop, but it seems a little too soft or glowy. Maybe it's just me, though.

4) Lovely! I like it a lot.

5) The lighting here is gorgeous. Very nice photo.

Overall, you have some wonderful keepsake moments captured here that are all very nice :)

Thanks for all your comments on these I too like one the best it was a great shot and a lot of fun to do. The processing is growing on me but I am still reserving judgment.
