I think its more like 10 to 15k... I'm not 100% sure, it didn't cost any more so we just put it at 15k in case I bought more equipment lol.

I went to our home owners and got quote, $31 a month. Covers a lot =)

Erie Insurance covers my equipment and liability for around $360.

Also with Erie, but just for my gear since I'm a hobbyist. ~$12k general coverage for $180/year. Small price to pay for the peace of mind :)
