This pass week, I picked up my 1st Non-L lens in many years; the Sigma 50mm f/1.4.
It's an incredible lens, very sharp, great focusing in low light. I was able to shot two xmas parties without using a flash. The photos turned out great. Don't believe everything you read on the net. For every one complain there are probably 100s of happy owners.

I think it does not it does not talk about whether they bear the shipping cost. It would be better to talk to Sigma person now.

Unfortunately I have experience with this. You pay to ship it to them and they pay to ship it back to you. The whole process takes about a week. I used UPS ground and it cost like $10-12.

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions guys. I pulled the trigger on Sigma 50mm. :)
