First of all hi ..

I`m going to build a filming rig for my 50D . I know the camera dosn`t do movie.

Tried allmost everything now except 1 thing.
video out : not enough resolution
soviet video recording program from LV. bad resolution
EOS Movie Capture - 1024x680 22fps ~ 38-45 Mbps .. that`s the jackpot.
My only problem now is that the usb2.0 hasn`t got enough bandwidth to support higher resolution or framerate.

So .. i`m going to buy a Blackmagic intensity pro .. a bag`o`cash ( 200$ - keep in mind i ear 250 a month ).
That card is a pciex1 hdmi input card that can take 1080i 60fps @ 80-90 mbps.

I have a question for you guys .. the hdmi output on live view cameras .. outputs what ?
I read in the WhitePaper that it automaticly detects screen resolution and sets the hdmi output to that . Now .. i really hope the fps will be a minimum of 30 .. i was dreaming about an 1080i/60fps/90mb/sec output .. that would be .. incredible.

Anyway will keep you posted ( i`ll post the output from the EOSMovieRecord tomorrow )
