Took this shot tonight with Sigma 120-300 with canon 2x converter. I took the converter back to the store after tonights round of pics. In the bright light it works great at about f/8, but in lowlight forget about it. You have to use the straight lens or the lens and the 1.4 teleconverter. The 2x distorts to much.Well better to have tried then not have tried at all.

About 55 yard. I cover myself in a 12X12 leaf camo cover. About $10.00 at Kmart. He kept looking in my direction many times but never picked me up. I was using 960mm so he looks much closer. To bad the 2x is not sharper. It would have saved me alot of $$$$ over the 500f/4. Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate it. I think I'll just use the straight lens from now on. Even if they look further away, they are much sharper.
