I read in an article that one issue where the 5DMII beat the 7D is that the 7D displayed noise in blue skies even at low ISO. Yours look pretty good to me. Have you noticed this at all. Maybe you could give me the exif basics and glass you shot these with? If the skies are under-exposed, then yes... you'll see noise when peeping at 100% viewing. Julian

Stop peeping at 100% and focus your attention on the subject, instead of the OOF background and the 7D will do just fine. As a pixel peeper myself, I'll confirm there is more noise at low ISO. However, the rate of increase (relatively low) as you raise the ISO setting is what makes it so good. Shoot to the right a little. Gary
