After selling my macro to go towards a 24-70 I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to do shots such as that. I realize that the 24-70 is not a true macro lens but most of my close up work doesn't get any closer than the shots you have shown. It should get me by for a while.

Is that an actual real human female ? she appears to be made of plastic. Maybe it's just the lighting and pose that makes her look like that. :) but seriously, it's a pretty shot of a pretty woman. Good work

I think alot of that is because of my heavy dodge and burning. I know she was scared, because of the live rounds from wwII around her neck. We told her not to hit anything, because they might go off. I wont do that again, I think it made her stiff.

abbadon31: I see, thanks for the explanation. Although it sounds scary with all that old ammunition, no wonder the pretty girl was scared. Who wouldn't be..

At this time of the year lots of students are graduating from school, i'm there covering them on their last day of school. It's a lot of fun to shoot. :)

Magnus, nice shots and it's interesting to see the uniforms the girls wear for school (I assume).

The girl on the left in the last image looks like she's having a 'coming out' party. ;)

navydoc: Thank you very much :) i have to dissapoint you and say that those are not the uniforms girls wear at school here, i wish they were. However they are popular now when school ends :) which makes them look great on the sensor. Oh the girl on the left has a ..nipslip! :O i haven't noticed that earlier. You sure got a sharp eye.

I had my camera about 2 weeks, back in Jan, when I saw this guy.
He was sitting on a railing, on a bridge, across a small lake.

Shot with 7D | EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
at 1/500, f8, ISO:100, at 175mm

The first photo is the way it came out of the camera.

The second photo, as a digital crop
