Thanks! The pink is from some colour filter effect which I thought would look nice to compensate for the excess blue in the frame.

I think it would have benefitted more from proper dual toning rather than adding a magenta tint, IMO of course.

Thank you! The water was not deep at all, mostly ankle deep. Still, perhaps a bit challenging for 6" tall dogs. :)

M1KET4N,
The photo in post 7123, the guy and dog running through the water is great. Would love to have a shot like that of my dogs to hang on the wall but then again my dogs are only 6" tall and would drown in that much water.

Again great shot.

Just out of curiosity, what browser are you using? On non colour managed Chrome, the image actually looks bad, but on Safari, it looks ok to me. Still, I suppose this is a matter of taste, and the filter did a bit more than adding a magenta tint.

I'm using FF6 (set up to be color managed). I switched it into a non-color managed state and noticed the magenta tint is much greater than in the color managed state. I will give it a look in Safari as soon as it finishes downloading.

Well, just looked in Safari and I see no difference between this browser and my color managed FF6. There's still a slight magenta tint that seems off to me. Perhaps it's just personal taste coming into play here.

Yea, I suppose flickr processing has done something with the colours too. On my screen, I like how it looks. Eventually I think it's down to a matter of taste. Thank you for caring enough to comment on the picture in the first place! :) Maybe I'll try one without the magenta tone for you :)

It is likely that Flickr has done something to it. I will agree that when you get down to the real nitty-gritty it's all subjective personal taste (that's art and opinions for ya). If you like the way it looks, that's all that truly matters in the end. Unless you're shooting for a client. Clients without a clue of what they really want. I dislike those clients.:p

I'm sure the deal was done because it made business sense to both sides, the procurer and vendor but they were both stupid enough to not spare some thought about the font sizes in these economic times ;)
