Some chainsaw massacre photos, don't worry it's just a piece of wood being massacred by a chainsaw artist. :)

That must have very good, consistent lights. I've photographed basketball in 1 high school gym that had fairly consistent lighting and required minimal color correction. Other gyms I've been in were horrible and every other photo required some form of correction.

Youre probably right. This is the rink where the Washington Capitals practice. I was shooting iso 1600 and 1/500th at F3.5! I wish I could shoot that in every hockey rink. It would make life grand.

Wow, that's awesome! And the 7D does really well at ISO 1600, so you don't even have to stress about noise.

I think the rain statement/comment was meant for the fly, but I could be wrong. :)

I get it, My "Are you kidding me?" was an expression of shock at how good the pic was.

I've given up on figuring out why my pics are looking so different on Flickr for the time being (colour, contrast, tone), but here's one of my first with the 7D:

Whats your workflow? Are they in the sRBG color space? LR3 uses Adobe ProPhotoRBG which actually is a wider range than aRBG. I've just learned to accept that flickr destroys detail, sharpening, and color depth.

Yeah they're all sRGB. With these ones I've been going from LR3 to CS4. The difference actually isn't that bad if I just go easy on the contrast. I edited in a new edit of the pic and it seems fairly good.

I like the way the spray forms glistening balls of bokeh in the background in this:
