Is there any talk of a 7D mkII? I'm thinking of upgrading, but would rather wait a little longer and get the mkII. I would kill for the AF on my 60D...

Photokina 2012 in September. Rumor is Canon will show a 7D upgrade. As September approaches the rumors will either be proven to be unfounded or there will be more information about what the new 7D will feature.

Personally I would like to see improvements to the sensor system for sharper images and improved noise reduction at higher ISOs, and an increased number of exposures taken when auto-bracketing.

hmm...I don't think I've posted any pictures in this thread before, so here it goes.

a pic of me w/ my 15-85mm. I had just started playing around w/ macro shots & flash so I wanted to see how much details of my eyes I could get w/out the macro.

here's the macro shot (my best one so far I think, of my eyes anyway). Used the canon 70-300mm IS and a reversed 50mm handheld (you can see the reflection of the contax adapter in my pupil) and flash.

For both setups I had the camera pointed at me on my desk while looking at the computer monitor to check focus (used remote live view shooting) and had the 430ex ii triggered wirelessly using the on-camera flash. Because I got tired of kneeling while hunched over, I got a stool to sit on and propped up the camera lens using my diffuser (you can see that in the reflection of my first shot)

ok this is an attempt to reduce noise with DPP correct white balance and apply a little bit of sharp
the lens is a EFS 18-135, aperture f5.0, RAW file, ISO 3200.

Not even close.. More like Linux vs Windows.. Mac OS is the minority..I love iPhone,iPad but MacOSes are way too overpriced and "limited" when it comes to your standard home based OS..

Meh easy choise.. Nintendo! ;)

No they don't do everything (Windows do though) and sometimes you have to wait for a significant amount of time for a windows based application to be ported in Mac OS..

I just upgraded to Lion for $29.99 - that's not over priced for an OS is it?
