Hey Peter just curious if you decided. I'm in a similar situation, at least from the lens dept (i 'only' have a 7D)....thinking of taking my 12-24, 24-105, and nifty fifty...may decide to get a gorillapod as well but otherwise no tripod. Need a bag too.....

Pretty well, given that it's months away. 5D, 24-105, nifty 50, I think probably the Tamron 28-75 as it's f2.8, Sigma 12-24, plus one of my Nissin Di866s and a folding reflector. I'll leave the battery pack behind. I don't have a Gorillapod but I agree one could well be useful, and I know they're very light...

5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.
"I prefer radio to television. The pictures are better"
