Found this tiny one today - is it a young mantis, or a small species? Having just moved to Oz from the UK, all this wildlife is very exotic to me
Not the best shots
as they were hand held and the little one was running all over the place

I think its history stems back to the colonial days where it stood for Patriot Of Mother England and became Pom, or in the case of Australians having to add a "y" to lots words (same as adding an "o"). I hope I haven't offended our British friend, hell, I can't talk - I'm Dutch
