here are couple of shots from the mountains of Dubai, UAE. Let me know what you guys think about this........it was freezing here for a change and I managed to get half way through a hill full of rubble from the flaky mountains that we have.

If you're going to take deep depth shots like these, I think it's important to get everything in focus. That means wide angle lens, small aperture, and perhaps a tripod.

Or throw the foreground way out of focus to send your eyes to the middle of the shot.


First step........ Take the lens cap off.

I did.............just no tripod. The Bokeh was added to draw your eyes to the SUN, (star) to keep in line with the title.

The second shot is @ f16, but since i was only .4m away from the bush(subject) the camera focused @ Macro, as this particular bush is the size of the PALM, yes Human Palm. Not the Palm tree. :)
