Im thinking reversed kitlens on my A80, for the an extra close up :)

Tripod please, and the 90-300 could be a bit long, so the kit lens will do, although we'll take the 90-300 just incase :)

I'v just got home so will be at your place a little after 4.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Mission accomplished!

A bit of a rush job, and my first ever turn with a 300D, quite differnt to a 20D which I'v used before or my A80.

Just left Matt and his Brother to run off to a printer in the hope of getting there before they shut, it will be close though.

Hope you made it guys!

So long and thanks for all the flash

Well done Moppie! good to see a happy ending, sure Matt will appreciate your efforts.
Now how about posting the out-takes?

:-)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

There were no out takes, all the photos were absolutly perfect!

Unforunatly I don't have copys of any of the photos yet, I used Matts camera and shot RAW, I don't have a RAW converter, and he was in a hurry to get to the print shop before it closed at 5:30.

Moppie, thanks so, so, so much. She's gonna love it - it looks fantastic at 8x12 framed with a black border!

Woud you like me to give you a CD with all the raw files on and a copy of Raw Shooter? Then you can really have a play. I can even give you an 8x12 of that if you want! ha! The printer messed up 3 times before finally giving us a good copy, some of them have ghosts of other photos in them, and one of them has only had 2 colours or so applied - so we are bright red!

We made it to the shop 2 minutes after closing - however i rung them whilst in the car informing them of our dilemma! They printed on a nice kodak 9810 - i think im gonna have to buy one of those. 45 seconds for a *stunning* 8x12 or 8x10.

Thanks again Moppie!

Ill post a couple more images later on tonight.

Thanks!

I've now screwed it down hah! no more falling out for me!

Wow, these did come out really well!

Your more than welcome Matt, Im so glad I got some good shots for your mother.
Its was a bit of a learning experiance for me to, Iv never shot anything like a proper portrait before. Its a shame we didn't have more time though, I think we were just starting to get into it, and I was just starting to get a feel for the camera.

I actualy wouldn't mind a copy of some of the better shots and RAW shooter, might be interesting having a play. But you can keep the print ;) :D :D
