Thanks Julian...weather is a lot warmer than where you are, but it's been a bit rough all the same...flooding and wind...this lot came through Thursday and cleared things up!

We had a little bit of a snow storm this morning, just an inch or so. It looked nice on some of the tree limbs for a while. When the sun came out, I got this shot across the river out back. Just cropped down and resized for the web. A bigger (1660 x 779) image is HERE if you'd like.

Went ice fishing on New Years day and the blue sky was so vibrant on the clean snowpack on the lake. Later during the day a heavy cloud cover moved in with snow so I'm glad I didn't wait to get the shot later.

We did get a bit of snow overnight though so hopefully I'll gain some inspiration to put on my parka and boots and snag me some winter landscapes!

Thanks Jeff. Looks can be very deceiving. All the snow we got melted very quickly. The temp at the time of the capture was around the 40's with a small gust of wind. Very tolerable. I can't wait to see what you get.
