Midget cars take to the concrete track of the Fort Wayne, Indiana Expo Center in the annual year-end Rumble race.

Thanks for the kind words. This is a great action event, as indoor event usually are because of their tight confines. It was hard to choose only a handful of images to post on this forum.

I had my hopes up that midget racing would be a Wonka olympics.

Never mind, these shots are all good. The fourth in particular is both an interesting angle and vibrantly coloured.

On a tight indoor track, the cars often take the corners on three wheels as rubber builds up on the concrete floor and traction improves. It gets more interesting on the second day of racing.

nice set, I cant wait for the chili bowl in the next couple of weeks, I just hope that I get to shoot it again. I kinda pissed off the people that approve the creds but I may have a ace up my sleeve :)

Rounding out the collection with a couple of images from the winged outlaw modified midgets that also were part of the racing weekend.
