+1 with the happy new year-ness. Let's see if I can start shooting and posting a little more than I have in the last year

Happy New Year guys. Hoping to try a 365 this year, but working today isn't helping!

I attempted (external link) another one last year and got further than I had previously. It became a bit of a chore though and I just let it slip away after 140 odd days. I had fun with the theme, but thinking of new things to became painful in the end.

Work portraits Glenn! Then there's that travel between home and work. The subjects of your 365 don't need to be on a level of Spielburg or Cameron, they just need to be there.

365's showcase your work to yourself as it's a way to help you develop your skills. Take a shot and post it! Forget themes just capture what you see.

Back at you Moose, you could always take a shot at work.

I did about a week ago actually, and I thought about taking my camera with me but it's not the kind of place to take photos

Good luck Glenn!! I only made 50 days with mine.

I'll have to see if I even make the first yet :p

Shooting more is my hope for this year. I'm not sure if I want to go for a theme or just shoot. I could always do a theme for a week at a time or something, but for now while I'm just on holidays and working a lot it's hard to see things to shoot.

I've seen things like that with stormtroopers before, a little bit of effort in placing them can look quite good but yeah, I can imagine it would get like that.

Good thoughts, Al. As I said, because I'm really just going back and forth between work and home now, it's hard to find things to shoot that I haven't shot before when I was first learning with my 400D. Once I get used to taking my GF1 with me, it'll be even better.

Brilliant link Al.. that video is amazing!

I just took the first pics of a new project! I doubt I'll be able to keep up with a 365 one (it fell apart last time when uni resumed).. so I've decided to post 20 or so "best" shots per month. It'll mostly be done with film (to force me to really think about my shots :P), and I'll try to put an emphasis on writing about the story behind each photo :)

We should offer some sort of asylum, if the forums (POTN) don't already. :D
