I just went for a swim in my mum's pool and the water was 30 degrees!!! I'm dying here!!! Portable AC is on, but not doing the best job. :(

I had a portable Aircon in our apartment for a while, the problem is it doesn't fully recycle the air so its always pulling hot air in, basically its a flawed design. Still it saved out lives back then thats for sure.

Can anyone ID this little fella for me?
Was a nightmare to capture. There were half a dozen darting around a dead shrub and rarely sat still long enough for me to focus. Have about 50 blurred pics.

Nice capture

Thanks smorter - it'll save me embarrassment when someone asks me what it is.

no wonder you had some many blurry shots 1/50 @300mm, thats hardcore! haha. Its amazing you got such a sharp photo at all, must have some nice IS on it.

Congrats mate, are you going to help out with some newborn shots? Get in quick if you are, they change really fast in the first couple of weeks.

in her defense...yours isn't on a trailer at the same height...better photoshop it to make it easier to compare :p

PS. you can tell your wife that you have a moderate lift. I would consider what you have there a minumum for any real off road stuff, and about what I'd have if I sold the Vitara and went for a cruiser/patrol

Managed to snag myself a rare (to me) bee in flight yesterday. Surprised it was with the G12 as well! Wish the minimum focussing distance was a little friendlier though.
