just curious if anyone ever goes to DPReview or is a member over there as well. or if there are any other good sites to get good info from.

yeah forum is mediocre and tends to have a higher than average crank factor. Reviews and database are excellent resources. Another you could look at is photocamel. Sort of like POTN, only perhaps even more laid back.

I also go there for equipment reviews but pretty much stay away from the forums because there seems to be too much arguing for my taste. I spend my time here and at FM.

Edit: occasionally take a peek at DPR, but that's rare.
Also spend a bit of time at FM.
