I was wondering if there was a way to download the Digital Photo Professional software online?
The utility CD that came with my 7D is in storage.

You can download/install an "original" version:

Then, you will want to go to the Canon site, to a newer camera section, go to its Software section, seect your OS, and you will see the various updates for the apps. I'd recommend at least EOS Utilities along with DPP, and ZoomBrowser can be a nice quick browser as well, and has some utilities also.

The reason you have to go this route is because the actual installations for recent bodies are updates and won't install unless you either have the CD or "evidence" of a previous installation.

Alternatively, there is a "workaround" to "plant the evidence" that is presented on this page:
