I placed a post with a photo requesting Critique at approximately 0100GMT...

The post followed all the rules, including the photo size rule. I watched as the post slowly sank to the bottom of the page. Last time I noticed it had over 50 views, but not a single response. :( Looks like it got buried under tons of first time posters asking for critiques on their snaps taken on their new X-Mas gifts.

I was tempted to answer my own post and "bump" it to the top, but I know the mods don't like that behavior, and I felt I would get a response if I was patient.

Anyhoo, as post hit the bottom of the page (8 hours later and still unanswered) it was deleted. Is this a normal automated function for unanswered questions? I still need the some feedback, but will post again when some of the noobs have dropped off the radar.

Thanks !!

Your post wasn't deleted....unless you are a spammer or do something seriously wrong, your posts are not deleted. It did go down to page 2....and it will continue to go down unless someone replies to it.

Yup....It wasnt there a few mins agoi ! :o

It must have dropped from page one to page two when I was logging in, and apparently I was still looking at the cache of page 2 !

I went through each page post by post and it wasnt there. I even checked my subscribed threads and it wasnt there either...Oh well, mystery solved!!

Interesting. Are your settings not set to auto-subscribe? All I did was go to your profile, then click "Find all threads started by"

Yup, I did the same thing cdifoto ! Auto-subscribed! All of my posts from yesterday showed up, except for that one which kinda confirmed the "deleted" theory !!!

I must have hit it at exactly the same moment it as transferring pages, or maybe this is the hour that the POTN servers back up and the data wasn't synchronized. Whatever happened the mystery is solved.....

Now if I can only get some feedback

MODERATORS: Feel Free to delete this Thread and I apologize for the confusion
