Does anyone here have OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard running on VMware as an alternative to doing a hackintosh?

I'm creating some IPod and iPad apps, but the only way to be able to distribute them as a native app (IPA file) is to use PhoneGap running on Mac OS. The solution doesn't need to be fast, just reasonably stable.

I'm definitely not looking to switch to Mac.

I managed to get it running using VirtualBox, more as an experiment than anything else. There are quite a few websites out there that explain how to do it but they do point out that it Snow Leopard is not licensed to be used in this way. PC or laptop also has to have an Intel chip and at least a Dual Core one I seem to recall.

Thanks for pointing out the licensing issue. I wasn't aware of it.
