Wondering if there is a good photo sharing/critique site, similar to something like www.dribbble.com (external link) for graphic designers. Dribbble is invite only, which keeps quality high, and people are only allowed to post a certain amount of "shots" per month.

I am thinking about starting a photography critique website based upon a similar theme, as all photo critique sites I can find are either forums, or flickr etc where there are a lot of people who also don't want any real critique.

Let me know what you think/if you'd be interested in such a service. The goal is to emulate the darkroom critiques I used to have in high school etc, in an online service with talented photographers.

I participated in one for a while a few years ago - photoSIG - totally geared to getting peer review. You had to review images in order to be able to post your own for review. Reviewers were of all levels mind you, so some were off-base.

It was OK, but I got into a bit of a spat with one of the moderators, so I took my ball and went home.

Give it a go - if it's stil running that is.

That would be super awesome because I find flickr, forums, friends, ect either don't know what they are talking about or they are just to nice. Often both of those. This forum's the best I've been to so far.
