Air - KBUF - 2010/12/17

Dropped the parents off at the airport so as usual I grabbed the camera and fired off a few shots.
A lot of Southwest planes this day, and nothing exciting, but here's a few pics for the hell of it

I usually don't click on air threads, but I saw your name and for some reason thought "pocketwizard/hockey" ... Call me nuts, whatever.
I love the symmetry in the 2nd one

#2 for the win

#2 is great (having tried the same angle many times, the Southwest paint scheme really makes the photo that much better). I like #4 as well.

Yup, that's me. Everybody needs a hobby though. Funny enough, mine came around from having (and still have) a fear for flying commercially. Nothing beats having an A380 drop in over your head at 200 ft.

Jan-Jasinski - Buffalo is probably more boring than Ottawa, you guys at least get some rare birds up there that are made to fly in the great white north, as well as a lot of govt issued stuff. KBUF is pretty much all commercial with a few "team plane" that come in for hockey and football. CYYZ is the good place to be, but I hate fighting Toronto traffic and it's 15 mins further than KBUF.

Yeah but once you come to Ottawa you'll just see Embraer . Today it's finally sunny and i'll try to get out! 11AM = First Air 762 departure & Colgan Air/United (new scheme) Q400!
