I keep mine at center at all times.

I thought about that, but then again i paid for all these 19 points, might as well use them! ;)

I'd agree with that. Anybody who uses only the center focusing point on a 7D camera is really missing out on the full creative capabilities that the AF system can offer.

Besides, all the points perform almost the same, unless you have an f/2.8 or better lens mounted. If you have, then you have higher accuracy at the center.
There is a slight difference with slower lenses too, in which case top, center and bottom points are slightly more advanced. But that's it.

Tgara and Anders, thanks for confirming my thoughts. But since what I used is a 2.8, would it haf any difference if I used the center? Looking back at the shots, almost the focus point but different outcome. At least I still got what I wanted out of it and thats whats more important. Just trying to learn some more here.

You would have been better off focusing on the neckline of the woman all the way on the left. I always try to use the most contrasty horizontal (unless focus point is center one) feature that's on the same focal plane as my subject.

Edit - never mind about the horizontal bit, I didn't realize that all focus points on the 7D were cross-type.
